The monthly analytical Bulletin returns to free access

The “Oil and Gas Production and Processing in Kazakhstan” monthly bulletin, covering the latest trends and current data in the country's oil and gas industry, is again available for free download.
"The decision to resume free access to the Bulletin was made promptly and with no hesitation. We believe that it is especially important for our readers to receive high-quality analytics, which can only be provided with full accessibility and transparency of information," the creators of the project noted.
According to the latest issue of the Bulletin, 44.6 million tons of oil with gas condensate were produced in Kazakhstan in January-June 2024, which is 1.9% less than the same period last year. At the same time, 7.24 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, were produced in June 2024.

The volume of oil shipments to the domestic market in June amounted to 18.3% of the total production. For January-June 2024, deliveries to the domestic market amounted to 7.52 million tons, which is slightly lower compared to the same period last year. While the export of Kazakhstani oil for the first half of the year increased to 36.02 million tons.

Over the period from January to June, Kazakhstan produced 30,446.1 million m3 of gas, which is 5.5% more than in the same period last year. The pace of development of the gas industry is confirmed by the fact that gas production in the country has been steadily growing in recent years. The main increase in gas production is expected to come from large fields such as Karachaganak, Tengiz and Kashagan.

The Monthly Bulletin on Oil and Gas Production and Processing project in the Republic of Kazakhstan was founded by the team of the Naft@KZ Telegram channel in 2024. The PetroMining and PetroCouncil.kz associations decided to support the founder of Naft@KZ Sabit Almauytov in developing analytics of the oil market in Kazakhstan.
